Grownup Backpacking in Thailand

Backpacking for Grownups..

..is a useful resource for any grownup in their 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s or even 80s or 90s looking to take a career break, Gap Year or go travelling with a backpack. Maybe you have retired and are looking to go backpacking to fill your newly found free time, just bored of the daily grind and are looking to travel for a while, or simply envious of your children who have been backpacking and had the time of their lives.

We realise the prospect of going on a gap year may be a daunting one, and you may feel it will adversely effect your career. We are here with advice to answer some of your concerns which may be holding you back from travelling or taking that trip of a lifetime.

You can meet, get advice and discuss with other grownup backpackers, many of who are in the same position as you in our Facebook group, or get advice from those who have recently returned from their travels.

Browse our destinations pages to get advice on what is on offer in all the different parts of the world. From Diving with Great White Sharks in South Africa, to Skiing in Canada, Diving in Australia to Salsa in Costa Rica and everything inbetween.
